Consultation Appointments:
Let your provider know if you have a concern about your child’s behavior, or their emotional or social health. You and your provider will talk about whether a consultation with Behavioral Health might be helpful. An initial consultation is typically available within 2 weeks.

What to Expect:
Initial assessments are typically 1 hour and may include parent/guardian, the child or both.  At the conclusion of the meeting recommended treatment will be discussed and mutually agreed upon.  The mental health provider will share information with your PCP and update as needed.

Services Provided:
Developmental guidance, Short term solution focused therapy, Parenting support, Referrals to community supports, CBT and Play therapy, Consultation with schools or other providers
